Kenya-10 Days Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru - Amboseli - Mombasa Safari
This safari features the open plains of the Masai Mara famous for its annual migration of Wildebeests and Zebras, the waters of Lake Nakuru home to millions of lesser and greater Flamingoes to Amboseli game viewing with Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop.
Itinerary
Arrival Day
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport transfer to the Hotel where you spend the night on a bed and breakfast basis. Depending on the time your flight arrives the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 1: Masai Mara Game Reserve. After breakfast depart from Nairobi for the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Game drive enroute to the camp. Lunch is served on arrival, followed by an afternoon game drive through the reserve to this endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills where pride of Lions, Elephants, buffalos, zebras and numerous plain game animals are in abundance. Return for dinner at the Camp/Lodge and relax in comfort.
Day 2:Masai Mara Game Reserve. Morning game viewing with a long drive to the Mara River where you will be able to view Hippos and Crocodiles. After lunch at the camp, afternoon game drive till late in the evening when you drive back for dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park. After breakfast you will be driven to Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at Camp/Lodge followed by an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a soda lake and is home to the Greater and Lesser Flamingoes. At times you may see a lion crawling on the waters edge, or if you are a bird lover you will spot different bird species. Overnight at a budget hotel/Lodge.
Day 4: Nakuru - Amboseli. Depart early in the morning towards Amboseli stopping off for lunch and game viewing on the way. Amboseli is famous for its unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro, and a relaxed abundant population of elephants as well as prolific bird life. Overnight at Camp/Lodge.
Day 5: Amboseli. After breakfast depart for a full day game drive where Mount Kilimanjaro background offers a good photographic scenery coupled with animals such as Buffaloes, lions, Gazelles, cheetahs, wildebeests ,hyenas, Warthogs, zebras Giraffes and Baboons on the ground. All meals and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.
Day 6: Amboseli / Namanga / Nairobi / Mombasa
A Pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast game drive enroute to Namanga border point. Proceed to Nairobi where you arrive at 1330hrs. Transfer to the air port for your 1 hr flight to Mombasa. On arrival in Mombasa you will then be transferred to the Mombasa beach hotel or similar. Accommodation is on half board basis.
Day 7: FULL DAY OWN LEISURE IN MOMBASA
Day 8: FULL DAY OWN LEISURE IN MOMBASA
Day 9: FULL DAY OWN LEISURE IN MOMBASA
Day 10: MOMBASA/NAIROBI
Day 11: MOMBASA/NAIROBI: Fly back to Nairobi at an appropriate time for your flight back home.
